Robert West
has been forced to resign the captaincy of the Under 1450 Team due to work
pressures. Robert began as skipper of the Under 100 side in 2016 and the
highlight of his tenure as captain was leading the side to become Under 100 Champions
in the centenary year of the County Championship. The SCA committee would like
to thank Robert for all his hard work, and remind him he is always welcome to
play in county matches if he wishes.
Stephen
Smithson of Lichfield Chess Club has taken over to run the U1450 team in this
years national stages. Those qualified to play for the U1450 should contact him. Thanks to Stephen for volunteering.
