MCCU Generation Game at Ryecroft Community Hub

 After being thwarted by Covid and his own health, Ray Dolan along with his wife Eunice have launched the Midland Counties Chess Association (MCCU) Generation game on Saturday 23rd September at Ryecroft Community Hub New Forest Road.  Ryecroft.  Walsall.  WS3 1TR

It is in intended to have 55 Boards, 110 PLAYERS  comprising 10 players from each of 11 MCCU Counties including Greater Manchester.

Each team is to comprise of 5 Adults and 5 Juniors, all players to be ECF rated, with no player rated over 1900.  Each player will play 2 games, one as white and one as black.  All games will be rated

There is no entry fee for the County teams, but donations will be accepted on the day.
A café will be available in the dining area, run by Eunice, and the games will be played in the Sports Hall.
Spectators will be welcome, providing there is no interference in the games, and all mobile phones are turned off in the playing area.
