Personality of the Year Joint Winners

The Staffordshire Personality of the year has two winners for the first time. For their work at Lichfield Chess Club, retiring club secretary David Short and new secretary Stephen Smithson share the award. Lichfield also won the club of the year because of the initiatives in introducing a second venue at the Brewhouse and Kitchen and the encouragement of  new players.
