Congratulations to Eunice Dolan who was elected as the President of the Midlands Counties Chess Union at last months annual meeting. Eunice is the first female in 125 years to be so honoured. Eunice will have the ordinary chess player, especially the younger ones, interests at heart. Eunice once fearlessly told her local MP to sit up straight as he was setting the members of her junior club a bad example.
